I met you in the most unexpected way
I never reckoned that day to be very astonishing
A monotonous day of mine as it has always been
Thanks to you for changing a little bit the scene

You were alone along the shore
Spending solitary moment with nature
I don’t know why I came close to your place
Maybe it was the sunset I guess

I looked at you with some sense of prejudice
Just another nonsense piece of a crap I presumed
But then I said to myself why not give it a try
I asked your name and gave a mock hi

You genuinely answered all my questions
I sometimes smile with no concrete reasons
Maybe I was wrong with my perception
And that you really are an interesting person

We talked and talked
Shared our point of views on this and that
We almost forgot to realize because of fun
That the stars and moon were already there to replace the sun

How amazing you are, I never imagined
Knowing you that single day was truly rewarding
Even if I don’t know you that long
I’m proud of you, I can’t be wrong

Just after you and your friends left
I gave a big sigh
Maybe because I wanted you to stay
And keep surprising me with your own extraordinary way

I don’t know when or will I ever see you again
Though one thing was for sure
The time you let me look closer at your life
I silently wished to be part of it too.
